Mr Rod Griffith

Rod Griffith was saved at aged 15 while attending Condell Park Bible Church NSW.  He moved to Qld with his parents in 1989 where he started attending Springwood Baptist Church.  He became an active member of the fellowship and have been to this day.
The Lord has blessed in many ways burdening his heart to serve Him in the young peoples ministries for over 20 years to now, where he has been given the opportunity to serve as part of the deaconate.
Rod met his beautiful wife at this church.   They were married in 1997 and have 3 wonderful daughters. Rod is very grateful that the whole family have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal saviour and are striving to know and walk according to His will for their lives.

Mr Derek Drew

Derek became a Christian as a teenager, partly because of the influence of his godly
Christian mother. During his life there have been many difficult times, but his faith
 in God has been a constant source of strength and encouragement to him – the proven promises of God’s Word that He will always be with us if we chose to walk with Him.
As he looks back now over many years the thing that saddens him the most is that many
people, especially the younger ones, have very little knowledge of God or the Bible
and hence have no foundation for their lives. He has found that true happiness and
fulfillment only come as we follow God’s Word and allow Him to walk with us and
guide us along life’s way.
